My real journal is tuulensisko at Livejournal Character's name: Ryuu-ou (formerly Naga) Character's age: Unknown but probably less than 300, he could be considered a teenager Character's gender: male Series the character is from: RG Veda Point in canon they're being taken from: When entering the ice fortress Brief background: Ryuu-ou was born Naga, the only son of his mother, the late Ryuu-ou. He has no siblings but he does have two older cousins, Hyakuryuu and Seiryuu who are like brothers to him. His family was a kind and loving one and though his mother died while he was still young, he was able to go on with his life, especially since his mother died happy. She was a very important person for him and he follows her ideals for what a guardian should be, that is to protect the people rather than obey Taishakuten. Growing older, he became stronger and stronger until he was strong enough to be considered a possible bushinshou for the Tentei. He was pressured to take the his mother's place as the king of the Ryuu clan but he himself was reluctant because he didn't want others to decide his future. Then one day he meets the two refugees, Yasha-ou and Ashura and wanting to fight a strong opponent he challenges Yasha-ou to a duel. Yasha-ou wins easily, making Naga even more excited in face of a challenge. He quickly decides to become Ryuu-ou so that he can wield the legendary Ryuugatou. Having passed the test, he then immediately "abandons" his clan to follow Yasha-ou and Ashura on their journey, to become stronger and to hopefully defeat Taishakuten who he doesn't like much as so many others in Tenkai. (And probably just for the fun of adventuring.) Personality: Ryuu-ou's most obvious goal is to become stronger. He isn't by now means a bad loser, instead he sees losing as the sign that he can still get even stronger. He loves challenge and he loves a good fight, were it for fun or for a serious cause. Despite being pretty reckless and boyish, Ryuu-ou has a strong responsible side to him. He quickly becomes like an older brother to Ashura and he often criticizes Yasha-ou for being a bad guardian for the kid. (You could say he's almost like a mother character too, he's even the one who does the cooking.) He cares for all his friends dearly, especially Ashura, and even though he is in danger and has no personal feud against Taishakuten, he follows them without hesitation. He is also shown to be very considerate towards others on many occations. He might be hot headed but he never actually gets truly angry or stays so for a long time. He is a worrier but he also has a healthy attitude towards life and he doesn't take things too seriously even though he does complain about Yasha-ou being too reckless. (Apparently his responsibility comes up most when it's about Ashura's well being.) Even though he wasn't too eager to become Ryuu-ou, and though he left his clan to travel with Ashura and Yasha, he does take his title seriously and he cares deeply for his clan and the people of Tenkai. | ||||||||||
